Author and director, Olivier Lexa is founder and artistic director of the Venetian Centre for Baroque Music. A historian and musician by training, he has also served as General Director of the Palazzetto Bru Zane. Living and working in Venice, he signed the re-creation of Cavalli's L'Eritrea produced by Teatro La Fenice in 2014, shortly before publishing the first biography of the same Cavalli, published by Actes Sud and acclaimed by the press.
