Deauville Green Awards open to the general public
There will be screenings and debates at the Cinéma Morny, as well as an energy evening at the Franciscaines. Young people in Normandy will be able to take advantage of a full day of masterclasses, roundtables and workshops to discuss and innovate in the field of energy transition..

Two days of screenings and debates at Cinéma Morny
For the first time, Deauville's Cinéma Morny is taking part in the festival, offering a selection of the best films from the official competition for the general public.
Half a dozen screenings and debates will be held in the presence of the film crews, celebrities, associations and scientists, who will discuss the preservation of our beautiful planet with visitors.
Wednesday, June 7 :
1:00-2:30 pm : Screening-debate at Cinéma Morny "Pourquoi on se bat" - "When I grow up" - "Bienvenue en zone sauvage" (Welcome to the wilderness)
8:30-10:30 pm Screening-debate "Les gardiens du climat" (The guardians of the climate)

An exceptional venue for a highly committed evening
Les Franciscaines welcomes the festival and its Norman audience for a great evening of Norman initiatives.
An opportunity to discover and share the latest initiatives of committed local players and the new challenges facing the energy transition in Normandy. A major conference in the presence of numerous local elected officials will highlight cleaner energies (decarbonation, electrification, hydrogen...), where the region has many assets, and its corollary: energy sobriety!
The trophy for the 15-25 year-old #FilmeTonFutur video competition will also be awarded during the evening.

19h50 : Keynote - Climate issues in Normandy with Benoit Laignel, Vice-President of the University of Rouen Normandy, Co-Chairman of the Normandy IPCC, Member/Expert of the IPCC International
20h00 : Round-table discussion: Energy transition in Normandy. Speakers will present the region's energy transition policy and unveil key initiatives in this field in Normandy.
8:45pm : Round table part 2: Renewable energy production of tomorrow. Specialized experts will present different types of renewable energy production in Normandy, with their challenges and opportunities (offshore wind farms, metanizer & biomass, hydrogen).

A day dedicated to students from Normandy

A tailor-made, free program has been concocted for the young people of Normandy on Wednesday June 7:
13h00 Surprise screening at Cinéma Morny, with a guest personality, on original ways of getting involved in environmental preservation.
15h00 : Masterclass on the #FilmTonFutur 15-25 video competition: two committed video-makers Arthur Gosset, director of the film "Ruptures" and emblematic figure of the "Bifurqueurs" movement, and Hadi Rassi, founder of the "Ami des Lobbies" channel, will discuss screenings of the competition's finalist films, as well as commitment through audiovisual creation.
16h30 : The "Yes Future!" conference, featuring youtubers and activists such as Camille Etienne, will focus on new conceptions of the world held by younger generations in France and around the world. The discussion will also be livestreamed on Facebook.
6:00 p.m. : Announcement of the winners of the Young Creative Awards, our flagship international competition for young audiovisual creators under 30 who are committed to preserving our beautiful planet.
6:30 p.m. : Free workshops on environmental protection: calculating your carbon footprint in augmented reality, eco-anxiety animations, energy-saving hacks, etc.
7:30 p.m. : Big evening of Normandy initiatives for the energy transition.
