THE VILLARE GATHERS ASSOCIATIONS TO FOCUS ON CULTURE

Situated on the heights of Villers-sur-Mer, next to the Saint-Thomas church, the Villaré is a large area that hosts exhibitions, events and activities for any age organized by dynamic associations.

ACTIVITIES ALL YEAR ROUND
Inaugurated in 2009, the Villaré gathers over 30 associations that organize weekly activities all year round. The most athletic people will enjoy zumba, salsa, rock'n'roll, dancing and fitness course; while those who prefer relaxing will enjoy painting, playing scrabble, writing, listening to music or trying qi gong. Activities are suitable to any age.

ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
During school holidays, children may follow the handicraft and creative activities organized by the Créa Club (during short school holidays) and by the Ateliers du Méridien (during long school holidays), as weel as painting and drawing courses.

A PLACE THAT HOSTS MANY EVENTS
Several events are organized throughout the year. Some of the most awaited are:
- the Playmobil exhibition that reproduces unknown settings and organizes fun workshops for children during the Easter weekend

The scale modelling Fair, taking place in February, that attracts scale modelling amateurs and professionals with boats, planes, trains, figurines...It's an astonishing event for all the family!
