The Normandy renovates itself
THE HOTEL BARRIERE LE NORMANDY DEAUVILLE CLOSED ITS DOORS ON NOVEMBER 1ST FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE ITS OPENING IN 1912. A NEW NORMANDY IS BEING PREPARED, METAMORPHOSED, SURPRISING, WITH NEW OFFERS, WITHOUT CHANGING THE SOUL OF THIS MYTHICAL HOTEL.
This period of closure will mark the completion of the renovation work carried out in stages since 2010: the roof, approximately 80 suites and rooms (including the presidential suite and the "A Man and a Woman" suite), the reception and the lobby have been redesigned.

Sem, 1917The Hôtel Barrière Le Normandy Deauville, built under the direction of Eugène Cornuché, was inaugurated on July 1, 1912. It was the first large hotel in Deauville and the first establishment of the Barrière group. True to its history, the Normandy is also the first hotel on the Normandy coast to obtain a fifth star in December 2009.
