In Honfleur, the covered, air-conditioned Naturospace offers an astonishing journey into an Amazonian-type biotope where tropical butterflies fly in total freedom. A hundred species from South America, Southeast Asia and Africa. The plant collections, a major component of the natural reconstitution, are made up of numerous species, often rare, notably in the Acanthaceae, Aracae, Heliconiaceae and Orchidaceae families. Particular attention is paid to floral diversity and the presentation of useful tropical plants (fruits and spices). Since 2008, visitors have been able to observe multicolored tropical birds in the wild.
Length of visit: 1 h.
