The Fablab workshops

On the second floor of the Franciscaines, as an extension of the Art of Living Universe, is the gateway to the world of making: the Fablab. Focused on the design and realization of all kinds of objects, the Fablab aspires visitors of all ages to transform their ideas into new products by giving them access to manufacturing means historically reserved for industry. It is a workshop shared around digital technology, providing various machine tools (laser cutter, digital milling machine, 3D printers, cutting plotters ...). Turned towards the manufacture of personalized objects, sound and image practices, the FabLab is suitable for initiates or beginners; from 8 years old, mini-makers come to initiate to the big ones wishing to prototype their innovative ideas, everyone is welcome.
The lab is divided into two successive rooms: the first, dedicated to the work space and some of the machines, and the second, dedicated to the workbench and other machines that emit dust.

The different workshops :
TheMini-Maker workshop, every Wednesday from 2:00 to 3:30 pm or from 4:00 to 5:30 pm, is dedicated to the playful discovery of digital technology for 8 - 11 year olds.
The MakerClub , every Saturday from 2:30 to 4:30 pm, invites 11 - 15 year olds to explore the world of digital fabrication.
Finally, theWorkshop, every Saturday between 10:30 and 12:30 and every other Tuesday between 14:00 and 16:00, is dedicated to the introduction to machines and software for people over 16.
