Laure Adler

Laure Adler started working for France Culture in 1974 as a journalist and then took part in several television shows. In 1990, she became a project manager at the Elysée for culture. In 1992, she was appointed director of documentaries and cultural programs on France 2. From 1999 to 2005, she directed France Culture. Writer, she is the author of historical essays and books, including Les premiers journalists (Payot) and Women politicians (Threshold), and biographies: Marguerite Duras (Gallimard - Femina Essay Prize), Francoise Giroud (Grasset) and In the footsteps of Hannah Arendt (Gallimard). In 2013, she published her 1er novel, Les immortelles (Grasset). She is the producer of the show The blue Hour on France Inter.
