At the water's edge

Bénerville-sur-Mer beach

No less than three beaches for Bénerville: the Lais de Mer beach at the border with Tourgéville, the Garenne beach and the Ammonites beach. Garenne beach is the liveliest in season, with its pedestrian promenade, the children's club. The larger and wilder Ammonites beach runs along the Yves-Saint-Laurent promenade. It is named after the designer who, in 1983, bought Château Gabriel where the great publisher Gallimard lived.

From June 2, the beach is reopened without conditions, no zones, no limitations.

The unavoidable

The Batteries of Mont-Canisy

On the heights of Bénerville-sur-Mer, Mont Canisy offers a breathtaking view of the entire coast, from Ouistreham to Le Havre. This protected natural site can be visited for its flora and fauna and the remains of the Second World War.

The Ammonites aid station

Because it has a little Californian air with its wooden structure on stilts, it attracts photo enthusiasts. It's even prettier at sunset!

Kids!

The Lilo Z'enfants Park on the Garenne Beach is a haven of happiness for children who bounce, jump, roll, and laugh in its colorful and inflated installations.
Open from April to November from 10 a.m. to 30 p.m. during weekends, public holidays and school holidays.

Events

Beginning of July : La Normandique, a great day of Nordic walking
Mid-July : Urban sport day, a day of discovery of urban sports on the promenade
July : the feast of Saint-Christophe and its fireworks
