70,000 DOCUMENTS TO DISCOVER
THE COLLECTIONS
A collection of 70,000 documents, including 40,000 catalogued books, around 7,000 CDs, 2,000 DVDs and a games library, are housed at Les Franciscaines in themed galleries and, for the fiction section, in the dining room.
Among these documents are two previously unpublished specialized collections, the result of donations. The first on the history of Deauville, the second on the horse industry, a major sector of the local economy.
PRACTICE
The media library is open from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday.
To borrow books, CDs and DVDs, you need a Friendciscaines Pass.
The Franciscans accept donations of horse-related books only.
