Les Franciscaines
Occupied since 1878 by the congregation of Franciscan sisters who lived there, this remarkable heritage of Deauville is now a unique place, entirely dedicated to culture. It brings together a museum, an auditorium, an auditorium, exhibition, reading and documentation areas structured around themes dear to Deauville: horses, cinema, entertainment, photography, the art of living and youth.

With its innovative scenography, this new place of life in Deauville invites the visitor to become an actor and to put his "imagination to work". Here, there is no set itinerary, everyone chooses according to their inspiration. Shows, concerts, literary encounters, conferences, large exhibitions, and cultural events linked to the artistic and editorial news of the place are programmed throughout the year.

At the heart of the building, a museum is dedicated to the figurative painter André Hambourg (1909-1999). The Courtyard of Exhibitions and the Gallery of Masters host masterpieces by the greatest impressionist painters.

Le Point de Vue
Designed by the architect Georges Wybo, Le Point de Vue is the former clubhouse of the Deauville Yacht Club presided over by Louis Bréguet. Inaugurated in July 1929, it welcomed boat owners until the Second World War.
In 1960, Régine, the new queen of Parisian nights, made it the summer branch of her new club, "Le Whisky à gogo". For 50 years, the building was used successively as a nightclub, a gym, an automatic gaming room, the headquarters of the Honda Racing Club of Deauville, and then, after it was closed to the public, as a storage warehouse for the Lucien Barrière group until 2009.
Reopened to the public in 2010, under the name of Club 2010, it is the central venue for the events marking the celebration of Deauville's 150th anniversary. It has now regained its receptive vocation with its large bay windows opening onto the sea.
After a thorough renovation in 2011, "Le Point de vue", newly named, becomes a space for exhibitions, meetings and readings. It is notably the central place of Planche(s) Contact, the festival of photographic creations of Deauville.

Deauville Beach
Deauville's beaches are the stories of those who have frequented the town over the past 160 years; mythical sites such as Les Planches, the Bar du Soleil and the Pompeian baths; symbols that have been seen around the world, such as the five-colored parasols and the names of American actors on its cabins; skies painted by Dufy or Boudin, scenes of life sketched by James Rassiat, photos by the Seeberger brothers, Robert Capa and so many others.
It's sporting exploits at the tennis club, records broken in the Olympic swimming pool, regattas on the open sea, long, invigorating horseback rides along the water's edge.

Deauville beach is a vast area between the sea and Boulevard Cornuché. An area also known as the "lais de mer". History has ensured that they will forever be a playground for bathers, holidaymakers and sports enthusiasts.

François André Square
This square was laid out in 1945 in front of the main entrance to the Normandy Hotel. Designed as a regional garden, planted with apple trees, it is criss-crossed with paths that converge on a bronze bust, erected in 1964, of François André, founder of the current Barrière group.
