Since 2003, the Louis Roederer Foundation has supported the Bibliothèque nationale de France in the development of its photography gallery and has thus supported numerous exhibitions, while contributing to the discovery of artists and promoting research within the framework of the grant. of photography.
This patronage has earned Louis Roederer, alone in Champagne, the title of Grand Patron of Culture.
The Louis Roederer Foundation has also been a patron of the Palais de Tokyo since it reopened in 2012 and of the Galerie Sud-est du Grand Palais devoted to photography.
With Bettina Rheims, Sophie Calle, Raymond Depardon, Stéphane Couturier, Richard Prince, JR, and many others, the Maison Louis Roederer has pursued this “search for the work” which echoes that which it has been carrying out for over two centuries in its vineyards and cellars. It was during this quest that she joined the Festival Planche (s) Contact, since its creation in 2009, happy to support the City of Deauville and the jury Planche (s) Contact in the discovery of new talents. The Louis Roederer Foundation thus awards each year a prize to the winner of the student competition. In 2015, for the first time, the Foundation wished to reward a second student by creating the Public Prize.
