Guest of the 2018 Books & Music Festival

Igit has a strong, gravelly voice that resonates as that of a blues shaman. We imagine him on a squeaky rocking chair, looking at the horizon and thinking about his lost love smoking his millionth cigarette. He shouts his sadness for lost loves with a contagious energy. And suddenly the paradise is there. Trained on the road, a broken voice, a guitar played on just three chords sometimes, and always the same enthusiasm. Igit, is a big band made of three people: the Mississippi washes over the small streets of Montmartre.
