Story 8: Going out to sea
InDeauville has sea legs. The taste for cross-Channel regattas came very quickly.
A happy stopover town for the Tour de France à la voile in 2013, an anchor town for the Cowes-Deauville

As the gateway to the Bay of Seine and the English Channel, Deauville has a reputation for technical sailing.
Between major events, the Deauville Yacht Club and its sailing school
are on hand to organize regattas, outings and sailing lessons on liveaboards.
With a total of 1,250 moorings, the area's two harbors - Port-Deauville and Port Municipal - offer a large capacity and a wide range of services.

Light sailing is also practiced in Villers-sur-Mer and Blonville-sur-Mer
