Since the end of the 19th century, inDeauville
has been a land of inspiration and creativity
arousing the curiosity of painters, photographers, filmmakers...
Today, their history inspires a permanent cultural program
which aims to support creation, innovation and discovery
by welcoming artists for festivals or creative residencies
or creative residencies and to organize moments of meetings and sharing

THE EASTER FESTIVAL

Created in 1996, the Easter Festival welcomes young chamber musicians to perform rare and ambitious programs in public, from trio to orchestra, from Baroque music to the great pages of modern music, combining voices, strings, winds, brass, percussion and keyboards. Each year, the concerts are held in the exceptional Salle Élie de Brignac, with its ideal woodland acoustics.

THE BOOKS & MUSIC FESTIVAL

In spring, the Deauville Books & Music Festival celebrates writers inspired by music. Dozens of authors and musicians take part in a different theme each year. On the program: readings, concerts, meetings, debates, workshops, signings and school days.

SOIREE MEDIEVALES DE TOUQUES

THE SAND SHOW FESTIVAL

In more than 30 years, the Sable Show Festival has established itself in the landscape of current music festivals. From French song to rock and funk, the festival does not restrict itself to anything, in a mix of sure values and discoveries. It takes place every summer evening on the beach of Villers-sur-Mer.

VILLERS-SUR-MER BOOK FAIR

Created in 2015, it invites about forty authors and personalities to Villers-sur-Mer to meet and exchange with their readers. THE AMERICAN FILM FESTIVAL

Since its inception in September 1975, the Festival has been the must-attend event of the fall film season with the presentation of over 100 films and the presence of American actors and directors in Deauville. Independent films, tributes, documentaries, premieres and screenings punctuate a festival in perpetual evolution, open to the general public with 60,000 festival-goers each year.

A festival of photographic creations, Planches Contact presents the work of photographers invited to Deauville for a residency, in order to match their photographic universe with the town. The festival's programming is structured around four themes: new and monographic exhibitions, the young talent springboard, the 25th Longines Hour competition and the monumental exhibition on the beach.
