There are courses of all styles, green and flowery,
signed by the greatest architects and the most surprising inspirations
the most surprising inspirations.
Recognized as one of the most beautiful in France, the Barrière Deauville Golf Course offers the privilege of swinging on the heights of Deauville, with the sea and the Auvergne countryside as its only horizon. Manicured fairways, fast and winding greens, aesthetic research, colorful plantings and rigorous maintenance make this course a high ranking competition site for amateurs and professionals. In an environment of 70 hectares, the architects Tom Simpson and Henry Cotton designed two courses: the Lucien Barrière (9 holes - 3038 m) and the Diane Barrière (18 holes - 5951 m). A true Championship Golf Course, the Barrière Deauville Golf Club has welcomed many champions such as Gary Player, Tony Jacklin and Peter Fowler. The Barrière Deauville Golf Academy complements the golfing offer with high-level teaching and technology, for beginners or those who wish to improve their skills during courses and private lessons.

In the heart of the Pays d'Auge, the Barrière Saint-Julien Golf Club is located on a 90-hectare estate, beautifully landscaped and maintained, with apple trees in bloom. Its architects, Alain Pratt and Bill Baker, have designed two courses in a totally British spirit: "Le Vallon" (18 holes - 6035 m), a championship course, where numerous water features meander mischievously along the fairways and greens, and "Le Bocage" (9 holes - 2258 m), aptly named for the quality of its landscapes, designed for less experienced players. Here you can try to surpass yourself in order to achieve the perfect shot. To improve one's game, individual, couple or group lessons as well as training courses are taught by Stéphanie Dallongeville, professional player for 25 years on the European circuit where she won many trophies.

Saint-Gatien
For a swing in the forest, head to the Golf de Deauville Saint-Gatien and its 140 hectare estate. Since 1988, the golf course welcomes players from all over the world on three courses of great visual variety, alternating between the forest and the Seine estuary. First, "La Vallée" (18 holes - 2977 m), which requires golfers to be precise and to have a complete technical knowledge to deal with the uneven terrain, the forest, the obstacles and the natural water sources. On the course of "La Bergerie" (9 holes - 3198 m), players slalom between flowering rough and large clumps of fir trees. The course cuts through the rounded curves of the valley and is more classical in appearance, but no less technical. The last of the three, "La Chapelle" (9 holes - 2956 m) is an excellent test, with shorter but very technical holes, where the strategy of play prevails. Dedicated to teaching, the five-hole "Parcours Vert" is ideal for adult novices and juniors of the NextGen Golf School of Saint-Gatien.

A haven of peace and nature,Admiralty Golf is unlike any other. Its architect, Bill Baker, has created a superb championship course between ponds, vast greens and groves; swans and migratory birds have even found refuge there. A true outdoor museum, the "Parcours des Arts" (18 holes - 6089 m) owes its name to the monumental contemporary sculptures that line the course. The difficulty comes from the seven ponds and the atypical bunkers directly involved in the game. A change of scenery is guaranteed with the "Parcours des Étangs" (9 holes - 1982 m), ideal for initiation or practice. Winding between ponds, it requires rigor and precision to place yourself well. The most original? The "Parcours des Étoiles" (9 holes - 2155 m), which lights up at night to continue playing golf even when the sun goes down: a new and unique experience in Europe.
