Story 1: Seeing the sea
The six beaches along the inDeauville territory
each have their own atmosphere.
Family, steep, sporty, scientific or Californian...
they all have their own identity. The colors and shapes of the beach umbrellas
as well as the cabins differ from one to the other,
renewing each day the decoration of the vacations.
Common point: the surveillance of bathing water is maximal.
In addition to the national surveillance conducted by the Regional Health Agency,
samples are taken every day from June to September.

The narrow and colorful streets of Villerville lead down to the sea and its three beaches: the Grand Bec beach to the west, where you can see the steep cliffs of the Roches Noires - Pointe du Heurt at low tide, the Graves beach in the center and the Bains beach to the east.

Two kilometers of beach, 450 umbrellas, 450 cabins, sports fields, a kids' club, a leisure park, 22 shops: Deauville beach has something for everyone. Immortalized by Claude Lelouch in the film"Un homme et une femme", its decor of Art Deco cabins seduces lovers, vacationers, bathers, athletes, horsemen and jockeys all year round.

- Rent a bathing cabin or a parasol.
- Along the promenade des Planches and its Art Deco ambience (1923): the lices are marked with the names of directors and actors invited each year to the American Film Festival. And it's been going on since 1975!
- Watch the spectacle of the horses who come to relax here early in the morning or at sunset.

This village stretches out in the Auvergne countryside. At its northern end, its very popular beach. The sunset is majestic.

- The Villa Mors The Villa Mors : this large villa with its neo-gothic architecture dominates the beach. It was built in 1905 by the Mors brothers, automobile engineers famous for their racing success.

Here, no less than three beaches are to be explored: the Lais de Mer beach at the border with Tourgéville, the Garenne beach, the liveliest in season, and the Ammonites beach, wilder which allows to reach Blonville-sur-Mer at low tide.

Accessible from downtown, the beach at Blonville-sur-Mer is lined with small planks that border a children's club and a sailing club. White cabins and white and blue umbrellas are rented in front of breathtaking beach villas. Further along, Goblins Beach becomes wilder. It is the starting point to the Marais de Blonville-Villers and its nature walks, then Villers-sur-Mer where another story begins.

This time, we're at the center of the world! The first French town to be crossed by the Greenwich Meridian, the long beach bears witness to the Belle Époque with its picturesque villas. Its special feature: the Falaises des Vaches Noires, a geological curiosity dating back to the Jurassic period. For those less keen on history, the beach is the venue for numerous events and sports tournaments all summer long.
