INDEAUVILLE HERITAGE DAYS

In the new district of the peninsula, opposite the station and near Deauville Tourisme, a brand new square will bear the name of Françoise Sagan, a female personality who loved Deauville. A great female figure in our history, the tribute paid to her by Deauville will be included in the program of Heritage Days.

The Calouste Gulbenkian Park will exhibit its first fall colors all weekend long. To go further, the managers of the green spaces department of the City of Deauville, which maintains the park all year round, meet with visitors for a commented presentation of the remarkable trees in the park.

Heritage days are also an opportunity to highlight the religious heritage of churches and chapels, some dating back several centuries. Those of Bénerville-sur-Mer, Blonville-sur-Mer and Touques will be open.

The guides from the inDeauville Tourist Information Offices were also present and will invite visitors to trace the history of the creation of the seaside resorts of Deauville and Villers-sur-Mer. A parenthesis of the history of Deauville will also be told during a guided tour of the open-air exhibition "Deauville in the eye of Paris Match (1949> 2011)".

The mediators of the Paleospace museum will take nature lovers on a discovery of the Black Cow cliffs and the Blonville-Villers marsh.
