Julien hardy


Born in 1980 in Reims where he started the bassoon with Jean-Francois Angelloz, Julien Hardy continued his musical studies at the National Conservatory of Music in Paris in the Gilbert Audin class. He then left to perfect his skills in Basel with Sergio Azzolini.

Soloist of the National Orchestra of France at nineteen, winner of international competitions in Toulon, IDRS and Munich, Julien Hardy plays regularly with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the ensemble Les Dissonances and performs in chamber music around the world whole.

He is now principal bassoonist of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Radio France and professor at the National Conservatory of Music in Lyon.
