POLITICAL ITALY
Meeting with Simonetta Greggio
Simonetta Greggio was born in 1961 and grew up in Italy during the so-called "Years of Lead". These years were marked by the radicalization of extreme left and right-wing movements, and by numerous cases of terrorism. Living in France for 30 years, she looks back through her novels at those terrible years that put Italy to fire and blood. How does a political heritage get transmitted in literature?
