Over 20 years ago, two young unknown musicians - Renaud Capuçon, Nicholas Angelich, Jérôme Ducros, Jérôme Pernoo – founded the Easter Festival in Deauville. Three generations later and preserving the same principles, the Easter Festival has become a must for talented young musicians and passionate music lovers.

Touques offers his preserved historic heritage as setting for the Medieval Fair! In 2019, the city will host a spice trade itinerary bringing you back to the time of the Norman dukes. Each year, the innkeepers will be waiting for you under the roof covering the medieval market. Many road shows will be organized all over the weekend.

Originally antechamber of the Easter Festival for young musicians, the Musical August is now equivalent to the Easter Festival. Musicians of any age meet to offer unprecedented music programs, combining masterpieces and rare works, using string, wind instruments, keyboards and voice.

Russian Art Festival

Russian magic is back to Deauville for the second edition of the Russian Art Festival, welcoming the principal dancers of the best ballet companies and the music of legendary composers. Under the artistic direction of Serguei Filine, about fifteen Russian principal dancers and soloist dancers will dance following the notes of the best Russian composers of the 20th century: Tchaïkovski, Borodine, Stravinsky, Rachmaninov. Sous la direction artistique de Serguei Filine, une quinzaine de danseurs étoiles et premiers solistes russes mettront en avant les compositeurs russes du XXe siècle : Tchaïkovski, Borodine, Stravinsky, Rachmaninov.
