GOLF BARRIERE SAINT-JULIEN: A HUGE HILLY COURSE
In the heart of the Pays d'Auge, 15 km from Deauville, the Barrière Saint-Julien Golf Club has a 27-hole course on a 90-hectare estate that is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The richness and diversity of the courses make this golf course the ideal place to perfect your swing and improve your technique.
Opened in 1989, the architects Alain Pratt and Bill Baker designed two courses (18 and 9 holes) in a totally British spirit. Le Vallon is a championship course, where numerous water features wind their way along the fairways and greens. It offers splendid views of a typically Norman environment of apple trees in bloom. Le Bocage, aptly named for the quality of its landscapes, is a course designed for less experienced players.

The club-house
Located between half-timbered farmhouses and white apple trees, the clubhouse, designed by the architect-decorator Jacques Garcia, invites you to relax in the purest regional style. It dominates the place, offering an opening towards the outside through its large picture windows, and shelters a restaurant, where you can taste a classic cuisine for lunch.
