Max Geneva

Invited to the 2018 Books & Music Festival

Born in Mulhouse in 1945, Max Genève holds a doctorate in sociology (1972). He began writing in 1980(La Prise de Genève, Zulma). Novelist and screenwriter, among his 26 novels, 6 are related to music, including Le Compositeur (Flammarion), Le Château de Béla Bartok and Le Violoniste, Prix Livres & Musiques de Deauville in 2005, published by Zulma. Recently, Le voyage de M. de Balzac à Turin was published by Safran in 2015 and Le Transformiste in 2017.
