Artem Ovcharenko, first Bolshoi dancer in Deauville
He is the star of the next Russian Festival which will take place in Deauville from August 22 to 24. Star of the Bolshoi Ballet, Artem Ovcharenko will perform with Anna Tikhomirova, first soloist of the Bolshoi with whom he forms a glamorous and media-friendly couple. They will be accompanied by twelve other dancers - among the best in the world. The story is beautiful. All of them perform voluntarily as a tribute to Diaghilev's Russian seasons, which were successfully programmed in Deauville from 1912. The Russian theaters graciously lent the costumes to help them - also - to realize this crazy dream. The program mixed classical ballets and contemporary creations for two different performances. August 23-24:
24 hours for the oceans
Since July 2017, the association Time for the Ocean has been alerting and raising awareness among the general public about the urgent need to mobilize against ocean pollution through various artistic media. This year, the program is still expanding and offers a whole weekend of events, with the support of the City of Deauville. One of them is an underwater concert by Michel Redolfi with the voice of Jean-Marc Barr in the Deauville swimming pool!
