A " Micro-Folie " will be set up in Deauville from December 22 at the Point de Vue for
10 months. In this atypical and multifunctional place dedicated to culture and arts, awakening, blossoming, creativity will guide the programming. A nice Christmas surprise.

For its 9th edition, Planche(s) Contact once again brought together, stimulated, explored and shared multiple visions of the city. Deauville revealed itself by confronting and lending itself to the practices and writings of all the professional and amateur photographers:
Isabel Muñoz, Isabelle Chapuis, Liz Hingley, Ysuf Sevinçli, Roger Schall,
Vincent Delerm, Franck Hédin, Pierre Cattoni, Alexandre Chamelat, Mireia Ferron,

in the 25th Longines Hour competition!

A tribute to Pierre Delanoë
on the season's program
An outstanding lyricist (and loyal Deauville resident), Pierre Delanoë would have turned 100 in December 2018. To pay tribute to him, the City of Deauville is kicking off the centenary of his birth by inviting Emily Bécaud and Julien Dassin to cover his repertoire.

The collections
how are we doing?
The construction of Les Franciscaines building is progressing quickly and well. The museum's team is delighted with this progress and is also working on a more secret project, less visible to the public but just as important: the collections project. Each step in the preparation of the transfer of the works to Les Franciscaines at the beginning of 2020 is timed and meticulously anticipated.

Crédit Agricole joins the circle of Franciscan benefactors

Crédit Agricole Normandie and the City of Deauville signed a sponsorship agreement on December 12. "The Normandy bank is a major builder of the Franciscaines and is contributing to the building through its "Initiatives Normandie" fund, which is backed by the Crédit Agricole - Pays de France Foundation.
