Centre International de Deauville - March 15, 2019

The City of Deauville and the Deauville International Centre organize the 11th edition of the Franco-Asian bilateral prospective days.

These encounters, more and more frequently organized in the latest years, are a major opportunity to discover and better understand Asian cultures. About 300 guests are invited to discuss the development of common projects, carefully listening to any point of view.

Decision makers and export managers of French and Korean companies, elected representatives and territorial managers in charge of international relations, diplomatic and institutional representatives, teachers-researchers, students and a large public work on discovering and better understanding French and Asian cultures. Moreover, they want to identify the opportunities, but also the stumbling blocks making it difficult for both countries to move forward together.

The debates performed in close cooperation with the Embassies and the Franco-Korean Chambers of Commerce and Industry concern economic relations and the specificities of the Korean market, starting from the analysis of concrete examples and the feedback of French and Korean business owners.

“These economic and cultural thoughts strengthen existing relations and create new links between France and Korea.”

Philippe Augier, Mayor of Deauville
