Tsuguharu - Léonard Foujita, dandy painter from Montparnasse in the Roaring Twenties is invited to Deauville in the summer of 1927. He brings his taste for partying here and illustrates with his great creativity the summer fantasy of the Roaring Twenties. One day wearing a swimsuit covered with playing cards or an Eskimo costume, it lends itself to facetious photo sessions, on the beach, at Sun Bar and on Les Planches. A few days later, equipped with a huge pencil, he posed alongside Suzy Solidor, whose swimsuit he covered with a fishing net. Another time, earrings in the nose, red lips, he walks on his hands to earn his place in the Sun Bar or carries Mistinguett on his shoulders before appearing at a gala dinner in gorilla attire and asserting himself as the essential and unforgettable character of the crazy years of Deauville.
