DEAUVILLE - JUNE 2: SERVICES AND PUBLIC SPACES
SECURELY REORGANIZE

ON THE SEA FRONT: ALL OPTIONS ARE POSSIBLE

Deauville beach reopens on June 2. People can adopt a dynamic attitude, or settle down statically. Spaces will be organized for this purpose. Beach attendants will of course have to comply with the ban on groups of more than ten people.

Near the water and on the boards, you will have to walk.
For those who wish to settle longer, two options:
- Rent parasols and deckchairs (from June 12): 3 to 4 meters apart depending on the sector, their reopening complies with the recommendations for distance.
- Place your towel in front of the swimming area where stakes spaced 10 meters apart will serve as a hangout for groups of ten people maximum.

In this area with parasols and stakes, traffic will be organized in corridors from the Planches to the beach and from east to west.
Signage will allow you to navigate easily.
This is not new, everyone will have to keep their location clean.
Ball games can only be played on wet sand
Return to normal for horses
The movement of animals and in particular mounted or harnessed horses is possible before 10 a.m. and after 19 p.m., at low tide, under pre-COVID-19 conditions, but without grouping more than 10 riders, with a distance of 5 10 meters between horses, depending on the moderate or intense nature of this physical exercise.

To know : Shower rentals will be open on weekends in June.
Traffic on the boards will no longer be constrained and will therefore be possible in all directions.

At the Deauville swimming pool, the technical closure for September has been brought forward. It will end at the end of June. The date of reopening to the public will soon be announced.

Also note:
The reopening of Calouste Gulbenkian park on June 2.
The stadium and the Sports Center remain closed and the wedding ceremonies will - until June 22 - always be limited to ten people including the elected official and the officiating officer.

TERRACES: SUPPORT SUITABLE FOR RESTAURANTS AND BARS

Three principles will be submitted to the Municipal Council on June 8 for optimal management of the terraces:
- Exemption from the annual terrace fee for the period during which the closure was imposed, from March 14 to June 1.
- Extension of the terraces to compensate for the distance rules until September 15, 2020, free of charge.
- If it is impossible to extend, or if the merchant refuses to use it, an additional reduction of 30% on the annual amount of the terrace right will be made.

The municipal services have studied the possibilities of extension on a case-by-case basis. Different solutions have been proposed. Everyone received a letter. The principle adopted is not always that of extension on the road. Sometimes the sidewalks on either side of the shops can be suitable, sometimes a place. Another time again in a nearby pedestrian lane. The principle of using the Market Place, outside market days and hours - already offered several years ago - finds its full utility for neighboring bars and restaurants.

All these occupations will be carried out while preserving the passage of pedestrians and people with reduced mobility.
Condition for restaurateurs: when the terraces extend onto the street, everyone must install an anti-percussion device, and delimit the space by means of barriers or cords.

IN MUNICIPAL SERVICES: A SANITARY RECOVERY PLAN FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL

In municipal services, it is also a return to normal missions under special operating conditions: telework and face-to-face are combined to guarantee optimal sanitary conditions and an efficient public service. City services had for several years deployed the IT tools necessary for remote work.

The distributed recovery plan concentrates all the instructions to be applied, to which are added instructions for each department:
- Barrier gestures to be applied (frequency of their application depending on the work situation)
- Wearing a mask, wearing gloves, gestures of disinfection
- Protocol for the management of a symptomatic agent
- Management of flows in services and outdoor spaces, staggering breaks and arrivals, setting up gauges for meeting rooms and room occupation plan, flow management by timetables to avoid crossovers
- Health instructions for the production of administrative documents, or their routing.
- Instructions for disinfecting the tools and machines used
- Reorganization of workspaces so that everyone has a space of 4 m2.

The new internal organization of services aims for a high level of protection for agents, in particular in services linked to the public: municipal police, crèche, building service, education service, municipal restaurant, quality mission, logistics service, municipal tennis, posts public toilets.
The protocols applicable to each service are put online and brought to the attention of the agents.

New measures have been taken to streamline the reception of the public:
- Information to the public on peak periods, display of the occupancy rate in real time at the entrance, proposal for making an appointment.
- Indication of the number of people who can enter the service at the same time.
- Marking waiting areas on the ground
The installation of protective walls is systematic in reception areas and offices.

Public service missions created during confinement will continue:
- Reception and supervision of children of medical personnel.
- Reinforced cleaning of public roads and urban furniture.
- Telephone calls to the elderly to identify emergency situations or special needs.
- The distribution of masks to the entire population.
- Reinforced maintenance of work premises.
