COVID-19 - ECONOMY
CLICK & COLLECT FOR BEGINNERS :
SOLUTIONS HERE

Non-essential businesses can practice take-out. Quite common for restaurant owners who have, among other things, the inDeauville ordering platform, other businesses such as bookstores, clothing, jewelry, sporting goods, and toy stores are starting to do so. Our recommendations to find solutions quickly.
Please note: the turnover generated by these sales will not be taken into account in the calculation of the aid under the solidarity fund (legifrance.gouv.fr).
WHAT IS CLICK & COLLECT?
Stores can thus maintain their activity by choosing to offer their customers the possibility to withdraw their purchases in their point of sale. This is called click and collect also called in-store pickup or click and collect in France.
Ideally, click and collect requires an e-commerce site. But professionals can also allow their customers to order directly on their website via a form or a contact address, their page on social networks or simply by calling them by phone. Customers are then invited to come and pick up their order "physically" in front of the store (entering the shop remains forbidden).
If it is not possible to come "physically" to buy a product in front of a store without having ordered before (either by phone, by mail or via "click and collect"), the payment can be done on the spot.
THE TURNKEY SOLUTIONS OF THE CCI SEINE ESTUAIRE

The CCI Seine Estuaire supports local merchants, artisans and producers in their digitalization by providing its local e-commerce platform: Ma Ville Mon Shopping, a solution that emanates from the La Poste Group.

5 WAYS TO LET PEOPLE KNOW YOUR BUSINESS IS STILL GOING STRONG
  • Put up a sign on your business indicating how you can be contacted.
  • Send emails or text messages to customers whose contact information you have. The first wave showed us that consumers stood by their favorite merchants whenever possible.
  • Use the accounts you have on social networks to inform your customers where to order your products online, or post regularly to keep in touch.
  • If you are an inDeauville partner, please inform us so that we can include you in the dedicated pages.
  • Get listed on the geolocation platform for businesses that are open and/or offer take-out or delivery services from the Seine Estuaire C.C.I.
ORGANIZE YOUR RECEPTION
  • Above all, plan to respect the sanitary instructions: make hydroalcoholic gel available to your clients and use it after each contact.
  • Determine the time slots during which your customers will be able to pick up their merchandise, taking into account their constraints, by choosing time slots that are compatible with working hours or telecommuting.
  • Organize your space by categorizing products that need to be removed so you don't keep your customers waiting.
