Fight against covid: the essential points on the territory in Deauville

From Friday October 23, 2020 at midnight until November 14, Calvados is in a curfew zone. Explanations:

- Outings and trips are prohibited from 21 p.m. to 06 a.m., under penalty of a fine of € 135 and up to € 3750 in the event of a repeat offense.
- public transport continues to operate in particular to meet the needs of exemptions.
- Establishments Receiving the Public (ERP - eg: restaurant, cinema, performance hall, trade ...) will no longer be able to welcome the public between 21 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- The hotels are open and continue to welcome their customers according to the health protocol of the profession.
- Restaurants now close at 21 p.m. and must also apply reinforced rules, among others: reduction in the density of people, table of 6 seats maximum, establishment of a reminder book, closure of changing rooms. Many of them have revised their service hours and offer take-out. Consult our "Where to eat" sections for more information as well as the restaurant owners' websites.
- Bars, indoor sports establishments (except school, extracurricular, high-level professional activities reserved for people with disabilities), game rooms (casinos), fairs, lounges will be closed all day and fairgrounds will be prohibited.
- Organized events are limited to 1000 people at most.
- Outdoor public buildings (eg stadium) are subject to a maximum capacity of 1000 people.
- The sale of take-away alcohol is prohibited from 20 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Economic activities taking place on public roads (construction sites, filming) continue to be carried out.

THESE MEASURES IN ADDITION TO THE MEASURES PREVIOUSLY IN FORCE

- No gathering of more than six people in public spaces and in restaurants.
- Ban on festive gatherings in party halls or multipurpose rooms and in marquees, tents and structures incompatible with wearing a mask (weddings, student parties, etc.)
- minimum distance between stalls in open air markets
- Ban on funfairs, garage sales and outdoor flea markets
- Occupancy rule for one seat in two or a group of up to 6 people in places where you are seated
- Regulation of visitors in public buildings where the public is standing and moving around (shopping centers, amusement parks, etc.): 4m² per visitor
- Teleworking, when the profession allows it, is strongly recommended with a minimum level of 50% of the workforce
- Wearing a mask is compulsory in all densely populated areas or in places where physical distance is not possible (e.g. markets and shops)
This mask wearing rule is in addition to municipal prohibitions. Wearing a mask is currently compulsory in Villers-sur-Mer throughout the town and partially in Deauville.

It is strongly recommended to limit family or friendly meetings to a maximum of 6 people and to maintain strict respect for barrier gestures, particularly in the presence of an elderly relative and in confined spaces.

IMMEDIATE CONSEQUENCES INDEAUVILLE
