Guided tour of Mont Canisy

As part of the creation of a future National Nature Reserve on the Jurassic coastal areas of Calvados, the Paléospace de Villers-sur-Mer offers a discovery of the main remarkable geological and paleontological sites. The geological site of Mont Canisy shows marine deposits rich in fossils and more particularly that of a coral reef, highlighting the tropical climate that reigned in the Jurassic in Normandy.
