Horseball Tournament
About thirty teams compete in 15 games spread over the weekend. This tournament is part of the French Horse-Ball Cup and welcomes the best categories: Pro & Pro Elite.
Horse-Ball is a spectacular, fast and technical equestrian sport, combining horsemanship, team spirit and dynamism, all around a ball. Two teams of four players compete for a ball with six handles and must score the maximum number of goals after a minimum of three passes between three different players (from the same team). A player may not hold the ball for more than ten seconds. The priority for picking up the ball is always given to the player who is in the direction of play, i.e. in the direction of the field from one goal to the other. The game lasts 25 minutes, i.e. two 10-minute halves (the length of the halves is different for each category), with a 3-minute break. Each team captain may request a 30-second timeout per half.
