The creation and development of the Deauville - La Touques racecourse are closely linked to the birth and development of Deauville.
The exhibition designed by the Médiathèque des Franciscaines exhibited in the hippodrome using documents from its horse collection, labeled National Interest Fund by the National Library of France (BnF), invites you to explore the history and transformation de Deauville-La Touques ranked first among flat racetracks in France by the number of meetings and group races.

"Associate Pole of the BnF", Les Franciscaines is committed to promoting these resources from donor funds, as well as the prestigious equestrian depot of France Galop, offering everyone the opportunity to discover the world of horses.
This guided tour of the exhibition will be followed by a visit to the different areas of the racecourse.

A special 2-hour Equidays visit format is offered in two ways:
- The discovery of 160 years of horse history in Deauville, through the exhibition by Gwénaëlle Lancelot, director of the Franciscaines media library.
- A tour of the different sites: stables, balance room, stands… by Guillaume Flavigny, director of the Deauville-La Touques racecourse.
