Temporary exhibition: "Collection treasures: exceptional fossilizations".

Fossilization is a very selective phenomenon. Indeed, out of all the living beings that have lived on Earth, very few of them reach us in the form of fossils. The nature of their morphology, their composition, the environment in which the organism lives are determining factors for their possible preservation.
This exhibition aims to explain the modalities of exceptional fossilizations and shows a diversity of remarkable and aesthetic fossils, such as the conservation of soft parts, as a fossilization sometimes in three dimensions, as the conservation of color pigments ... These exceptional fossils inform us about the biology, the evolution of fossil organisms and allow us to understand the stages of the biological evolution of the Earth.
To discover: the ichthyosaurs, the horseshoe crabs and the impressive carnivorous dinosaur, the Tarbosaur.
