CARLApm has been painting for a long time. She also developed her artistic sense through her studies of architecture, photography and other schools of thought. Painting is an integral part of his life.

First, his artistic expression was abstract, in acrylic on paper or figurative. After a period of oil painting on canvas, starting with small formats of 40x40 to go up to large formats of 100x130, the artist then returned to water techniques, Indian ink, gouache and acrylic.

Then she experimented with mixed media and collages. This tactile aspect, almost enjoyable, illustrates a constant interior-exterior dialogue. His painting is resolutely contemporary: monochrome (almost), black and white, or very colorful. The colors are made according to the moment, from the 3 primary colors, and from its sensitivity. The inspirational subjects are endless: still lifes, landscapes, living models and are all an invitation to travel.

An exhibition is for the artist a research, a meeting, to meet the gaze of the other, of others, on his works and which thus become others. Change the gaze: glimpse a form of reality more through the senses and create a change of scenery in order to share it with the viewer. A world to perceive or to perceive.
