6th Nuits de l'Estuaire: Mont-Canisy military remains
From 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Free on reservation
For centuries a seigneurial domain, Mont-Canisy is today a protected natural area and a place steeped in history. Its strategic position, on a hill facing the Bay of the Seine, meant that it was repeatedly transformed into a coastal artillery position, on which military works still stand.
Les Nuits du tourisme celebrates the end of the high tourist season on the Seine estuary. On four Saturday evenings in October, as night falls, visitors are invited to let themselves be swept away by a wave of musical, theatrical and culinary events, and to pass through the doors of museums, historic or listed buildings, natural sites and other surprising places.
Individual portable lighting recommended.
