10th Theatre in Villerville
Since 2014, Théâtre à Villerville has been weaving the thread of the town's artistic history and perpetuating its soul with the renewed ambition of having artists reside there. Each year, the festival welcomes young theater companies to create a festival of original creations in places that are not a priori dedicated to live performance: a disused garage, a castle in its juice, an old school, a cottage nestled on the cornice of the Parc des Graves... The invited companies are ready to fight. They have crazy projects, ideas bigger than themselves, revisit the places and shake up the expectations that we can have of the theater. The program includes a dozen artistic proposals, which take place from morning to night. Wandering from one "non-theatrical" place to another, the public attends plays created especially for the event, and carte blanche performances dedicated to young artists.
