For its 5th edition, Villers Games settles permanently in the landscape of video game festivals in the Great West.

Take control! Associations of video game and digital enthusiasts will meet at the Le Villare association and cultural center in Villers sur mer to share their passion with the public. On the program, forty gaming stations with a large panel of consoles, from the 1980s to the present day, tournaments, online gaming, initiations and discoveries around video games. A full weekend of entertainment for the whole family to discover or rediscover video games, their present, their past, and their future!

Video games today represent a large part of the cultural economy. First present in arcades, then in living rooms thanks to game consoles, they are now also available on smartphones. These developments have made it possible to increase the number of "gamers". One in two French people play three to four times a week. Cinema, music, graphics, literature, the video game interferes in all fields and sometimes becomes a real work of art.
