Situated on the seaside, the Vaches Noires cliffs, more than 100 m high, spread over 4.5 km between the municipalities of Villers-sur-Mer and Houlgate. These cliffs stand out for their geological and paleontological richness and their natural beauty, characterized by a succession of ravines and rocky peaks. The Vaches noires cliffs make part of the intervention sites of the coastal conservatory and are subjected to conservation measures since 2002. They are also classified “Site of scientific and landscape value of the Department”.
