The exhibition Artists in Normandy takes a 360 ° look at representations of Normandy, both in painting and photography, from 1830 to the present day.

Each summer, the City of Deauville lifts the veil on Les Franciscaines, future place of life and cultural abundance, which will open its doors in 2020. This year, Les Franciscaines are highlighting theArtist : his benevolent, incisive, moved and lively look in front of the maritime and rural landscapes of Normandy.

Nearly two centuries of masterpieces from the Collection of the Musée des Franciscaines and the Collection Peindre en Normandie are brought together for the first time, bringing together in particular Delacroix, Monet, Daubigny, Renoir, Vuillard, Bonnard, Vlaminck, Dufy, Malet, Hamburg, Doisneau, Massimo Vitali ...

The exhibition is curated by Alain Tapié, Artistic Director of the Collection Peindre en Normandie and Lynda Frenois, Director of the Musée des Franciscaines de Deauville.

The OFF of the exhibition:
Illustrious and unknown painters, Fauvists, Impressionists or contemporary photographers exhibited at Point de Vue will also come to live in Les Planches all summer. The portrait of each of them will be displayed on the doors of the cabins in large format.
