Assessing and offsetting the ecological impact of your trip
Events and tourism, while being strong and indispensable markers of society, also contribute to global greenhouse gas emissions. To ensure that tourism in the area makes sense and is a source of progress for residents, professionals and visitors alike, inDeauville strives every day to protect and enhance it, while respecting environmental, social and economic balances.
With this in mind, inDeauville has teamed up with two tools to assess and offset the ecological impact of its trips.
Calculate your carbon footprint
To evaluate the greenhouse gas emissions associated with your trip
The calculators on offer enable you to quickly estimate the climate impact of your activity. These calculators are based on the Bilan Carbone® methodology developed by ADEME and now distributed by the Association Bilan Carbone (A.B.C.). Above all, they are intended to raise awareness.
Contribute locally
To reduce your carbon footprint and encourage sustainable local practices
The France Congrès et Evénements association, in collaboration with The Zero Fund, has created a platform for local carbon contributions or contributions to local environmental projects. By investing in a local low-carbon project, direct support is given to initiatives that have proven their effectiveness in reducing carbon emissions. These projects focus on biodiversity preservation, heritage restoration, or other sustainable initiatives.
