Equi-brunch inDeauville :
Gallop on the beach and have a duo lunch
Riding a horse on the beach in the early morning, lulled by the sound of the waves, in front of the breathtaking spectacle of the changing lights of the sunrise, is an experience not to be missed in Deauville, a postcard of the Côte Fleurie. And for brunch, it is in a totally unusual place that we suggest you sit down, surrounded by shelves overflowing with novels and other works: Les Franciscaines, a new place devoted to culture.

9:30 am - Tread the wet sand
The morning begins at the trailer park, ideally located between the equestrian center and the Art Deco cabins, where the horses of the Pôle International du Cheval Longines - Deauville await you for a private horseback ride for two. After a brief discussion with your guide about the morning's activities, put on your riding hat and set off for a 1.5 hour ride, facing a rising sun, giving the sky the colors of autumn leaves. You will successively see the famous promenade des Planches, the imposing Hôtel Barrière Le Royal*****, the Olympic swimming pool and the numerous seaside villas lining the beach, while fully enjoying the silence offered by the sea.

11:00 a.m. - Have lunch in a museum
After this horseback ride rich in unique views, what better way to continue than with a brunch? In the very heart of Deauville, Les Franciscaines combines the collections of the André Hambourg Museum, the Deauville Media Library and an auditorium offering shows, concerts and conferences in a single heritage building. The Refectory, designed for sharing, conviviality and relaxation, is the new HQ for brunches in Deauville, to be enjoyed in a gastro-cultural bubble. Its well-stocked sweet and savory buffet will delight your taste buds, from homemade pastries to traditional viennoiseries, from fine charcuterie to seafood, and from salad verrines to veloutés, all topped off with the freshness of a freshly squeezed fruit juice and the warmth of an organic coffee or tea.
To extend your Sunday afternoon, don't hesitate to wander freely through the aisles of the five universes laid out on two floors, including the inevitable Univers Cheval. Whether you are an amateur, curious or a novice, discover the culture of the horse thanks to an incredible collection, recognized and labeled by the National Library of France, now within reach. Leaf through books and magazines, immerse yourself in pedigrees or treatises on hippology, enjoy a cosy atmosphere where the leather that adorns the furniture recalls the magic of the stables, in the middle of masterpieces of equestrian art as well as an evocation of the horse in freedom.
Also not to be missed, the new temporary exhibition "Esquisses Impressionnistes en Normandie" and the photographs of artists Antoine d'Agata, Anne-Lise Broyer, SMITH, Joan Fontcuberta, Pilar Rosado and Riverboom, installed on the occasion of the Festival Planches Contact.
