Ouranos set

It was under the impulse of clarinetist Amaury Viduvier that five young soloists from the Paris Conservatoire met in 2014 to explore the fascinating repertoire of wind quintet. Driven by their desire to place their instrumental virtuosity - rewarded with numerous international prizes - at the service of the ensemble, the members of the quintet rapidly multiply high-level artistic collaborations and offer a resolutely personal interpretation of the great classics of the repertoire.

In April 2017, the Ouranos ensemble won the 1st prize, the public prize, the Bullukian Foundation prize, the Internet users' prize at the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition.

In addition to its work in quintet, the ensemble regularly brings together around its core some of the best wind instrumentalists of its generation to make the public discover the great richness of music for wind ensemble. The Ouranos ensemble has been in residence at the Singer-Polignac Foundation since September 2014. He has since been a privileged guest of the Easter and August musical festivals in Deauville, where he collaborates with exceptional chamber musicians such as Renaud Capuçon, François Salque , Lise Berthaud, Nicholas Angelich, Bertrand Chamayou, Guillaume Vincent or the Hermès quartet. Since its creation, the Ouranos ensemble has already performed at the Flâneries Musicales de Reims, at the Escapades Musicales du Bassin d'Arcachon, at the Debussy Festival in Argenton, at the Easter Festival and at the August Musical in Deauville, at the Polignac Foundation in Paris, at the Auxerre theater, at the Jeunes talents festival in Loudun, at the Priory Festival in Chirens, at the Musicales du Parc de Wesserling, at the Château de Saint-Ouen.
