The Saint-Martin church is a remarkable example of the neo-Gothic style which flourished in Normandy at the end of the 1872th century. It was built from 1874 by the Caen architect Lavallée-Dupeyroux. Thanks to donations, it replaced the old church in XNUMX, which had become too cramped.
Sculptures by the Jacquier brothers and stained glass windows from the Duhamel Marette workshop have been classified as Historical Monuments since 2006. Workshop located in Evreux, he delivers to Villers-sur-mer for this church, an exceptional set of 51 colored glass roofs, considered to be one of masterpieces of Lower Normandy art from the end of the XNUMXth century.
A painting by Jean-Joseph Benjamin-Constant representing "Saint Joseph foster father of Christ" is also classified.
