A former large livestock farm covering 68 hectares, the Bouquetot estate, with its seven buildings, typical of the traditional timber-framed architecture, is a precious testimony of the rural life and heritage of Augeron in the 17th and 18th centuries. Until the end of the 1980s, a family enjoyed an autonomous way of life on these lands, which were endowed with numerous quality springs. In order to protect them, the Community of Communes Cœur Côté Fleurie acquired the domain. Eco-domain since 2009, the site wants to be a place of reference for the development of innovative use of natural resources. The objective is to enhance the value of the land and the farmhouse through the installation of ecological, economic and educational activities. There is an organic market gardener in permaculture and agriculture, beekeeping, organic cattle breeding, tree houses, production areas for spirulina, vermicompost, ornamental and edible flowers, a tea garden.... Numerous educational activities are organized around the cultivation of spirulina, permaculture, edible plants ... as well as nature walks and a treasure hunt.
