Nicolas d'Estienne d'Orves

Born in 1974, Nicolas d'Estienne d'Orves is a writer and opera critic for Figaro. Since 2001, he has published some twenty books. Othon received the Roger Nimier Prize, Les Fidélités successives the Cazes Prize and his latest novel, La Gloire des maudits, was a finalist for the 2017 Interallié Prize. He also writes a lot about Paris, to which he has dedicated a Dictionary of Love and a guidebook for walks: Petits plaisirs que seul Paris procure. He has published three novels with XO: Les Orphelins du mal, Les Derniers Jours de Paris, L'Enfant du premier matin, which have been translated into thirteen languages.
