Nicolas d'Estienne d'Orves

Born in 1974, Nicolas d'Estienne d'Orves is an opera writer and critic at Figaro. Since 2001, he has published around twenty books. Othon received the Roger Nimier Prize, Successive Loyalty the Cazes Prize and his latest novel, The Glory of the Cursed, was a finalist of the 2017 Interallié prize. He also writes a lot about Paris, to which he devoted a Love Dictionary and a walking guide: Small pleasures that only Paris provides. He has published three novels at XO: The Orphans of Evil, The Last Days of Paris, The Child of the first morning, which are translated into thirteen languages.
