Deauville - Villa Le Cercle - June 12 & 13, 2019

Since 2012, the festival has been promoting institutional films, spots and documentaries about sustainable development and eco-innovation, and raising the public awareness on these essential subjects.

There are no doubts about the force of the image to reveal, highlight, promote, explain, and sometimes condemn: Deauville Green Awards offers a unique opportunity for companies, institutions, NGOs and communities to promote actions and good practices whose objective is meeting the challenge of climate change, preserving our environment, ensuring the well-being of future generations. The objective is raising public awareness about climatic issues in the world. The participants come from all over the world, and every year over 400 films are shown. International visibility, some encounters and an award are at stake.

The Festival addresses to the actors of the audiovisual sector, communication, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility coming from all over Europe. Round tables concerning current subjects are organized and audiovisual productions are shown in front of communication and ecology professionals: communication, marketing and sustainable development managers, audiovisual managers of the local, regional, national public sector; directors and producers of corporate films and documentaries, television broadcasting managers, leaders of communication agencies...

Deauville Green Awards also invites the public to assist for free to preview sessions and awareness-raising actions. Hundreds of students and visitors come every year.

With 420 international films in competition (a record this year) and hundreds of professionals, the 2019 Festival looks very diverse and interesting. Famous French sailor Isabelle Autissier, President of WWF France, is the sponsor of the 8th edition focused on living species’ protection.
