Caroline de Kergariou
Invited to the 2018 Books & Music Festival
A Breton and a mathematician by training, Caroline de Kergariou quickly abandoned teaching to approach writing on several fronts: TV script, theater, radio. The historical fictions she creates for France Inter soon lead her to books and make her a "wild" historian with No Future, a history of punk, published in 2017 by Perrin. With this book, the global history of 45 years of punk - music, politics, philosophy and aesthetics - all around the planet, she reconnects with her tumultuous youth, when her encounter with punk had led to the publication of her first texts, articles in various rock magazines.
