Culture and Horse: the essentials of summer inDeauville

If the big events follow one another throughout the year inDeauville, the month of August brings a summer program of the most rhythmic between cultural festivals and horse and equestrian events of the most prestigious.

3. Book Fair of Villers-sur-Mer

Since 2015, this show has invited around forty authors and personalities to Villers-sur-mer. This 7th Sunday edition will take place on August 22 in Le Villaré.

Claude Lelouch has been the godfather of this literary event since its creation. Each year, a theme is chosen according to the title of one of his films, this year "The ones and the others".

4. A Festival in Villerville

Theater in the city! From August 26 to 29, 4 days of festivity, 6 shows and 4 carte blanche will bring the town of Villerville to life in places not usually dedicated to live shows: a garage, a chalet, the beach or the surroundings of a Chateau…
Since 2014, a Festival in Villerville has been reweaving the thread of the artistic history of the city and perpetuating its soul with the renewed ambition to make artists reside there.
Following an in situ residency, professional artists take curious spectators through atypical performance venues. Thus Villerville keeps its promise of an art theater festival, both "scholarly and popular", which favors texts and actors.
