Fanny Cottençon is a French actress and producer born in 1957 in Gabon. She followed the lessons of Blanche Salant at the Atelier International de Théâtre. In 1983, she won the César for best actress in a supporting role for the film The North Star by Pierre Granier-Deferre. She notably played in False confessions (1984) by Daniel Moosmann and As long as there are women (1988) by Didier Kaminka. In 2009, we find her at the Théâtre de la Commune in the play After the Rehearsal by Ingmar Bergman, directed by Laurent Laffargue. In 2011, she starred in Frog day by Béatrice Pollet.
