Gastronomy
Audrey Corregan studied photography at the Ecole des Gobelins, in Paris, before furthering her artistic approach at the Ecole de Photographie de Vevey, in Switzerland, and then at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. She then won the first prize at the Festival of Photography in Hyères, France, and went on to complete the program offered at the School of Visual Arts in New York. She now lives in Paris where she alternates between exhibition projects and commissions with her husband, the artistic director Erik Haberfeld.
Her work has been published in M, Stiletto, le Monde d'Hermès, or Obsession magazine. Her clients include Hermès, Yves Saint Laurent, Corpus Christi, Weston, Van Cleef.
She has exhibited at FOAM in Amsterdam, and at Paris Photo, for the Photographers Gallery in London.
In Deauville, she paid tribute to culinary specialties and the art of the table, with still lifes and playful constructions. Her series was realized with the participation of Deauville's shopkeepers and restaurant owners.
"Gastronomy" is a deauvillaise investigation that led to encounters during which we collected clues. These findings form playful still lifes, which are the report of our peregrinations. It is the research itself that becomes the result here."
